Best coffee and breakfast I had in San Francisco. I had a single origin cortado and I loved you could choose between different beans. Also had the avocado and it was simply delicious 🤤

Better Half absolutely delivered, this was one of those surprises you stumble on that just hits on every level. We stopped in for a couple iced coffees and ended up having an incredible food experience to go with it. The hen of the woods dish was unreal. Best way I can describe it was rich, deeply savory, and cooked perfectly with a great texture. The poached and fried egg on top was culinary perfection. As a home cook, I can say not an easy thing to pull off, and they nailed it. The confit avocado was just as impressive. Beautifully presented, fresh, and packed with flavor. The seeded crust and pickled onions added the perfect balance, especially with that warm, crusty bread on the side. Simple, but done exceptionally well. We also had the chance to meet Joshua, the owner, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell there’s real intention behind everything here, from the menu to the vibe to the people. If someone could nominate a coffee house for a James Beard, this is it. If you’re anywhere near here, this spot is absolutely worth checking out. We tested every high rated coffee house within a 6-8 block radius and I’ll just say, we’ll definitely be back.

I heard great things about this coffee shop, and I'm happy to share that it lives up to all the praise. This should be a must try when visiting San Francisco. Their signature drink made with the Isfahan syrup is absolutely delicious, not too sweet which allows for the espresso to shine even in latte form. The syrup has notes of rose, raspberry, and vanilla that compliments anything it touches. I had the pleasure of trying it as a spritz where the floral notes were front and center. Not to mention, the space is cozy and inviting. Joshua is very knowledgeable was kind enough to share the Better Half Coffee's story. I will half to return during their later hours when the shop transforms into a bar and bites establishment!

Great Coffee, Amazing Food and Outstanding Service! This was our first coffee stop in SF during this trip and we are so happy to land in such great spot to get coffee and start our café and cocktail bar quest. The atmosphere is cozy and staff is friendly and very hospitable. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Love this place . It is popup store inside a wine bar. It is coffee shop in the morning and wine bar in the evening. They just opened about 4 months. I am not sure if this is their permanent place. We were looking for coffee shop near North Beach and found it. The interior is very nice with small section where they take order and prepare the coffee. There are some pastries to choose from and they also have something from kitchen. The owner is very friendly and based on our conversation, he has been in coffee world for quite sometimes. We order matcha, cortado and latte. They have milk options if you are lactose intolerance. We also order Confit Avocado. The order was ready quickly which surprise me. The coffee and matcha were tasty. The highlight is the Confit Avocado. It is so yummy and different than regular avocado toast which you get from many coffee shop. They infuse the avocado with oil. I never had this before. it is at next level. The price is reasonable and good this is it is pet friendly place.
